Service Provider Solution Overview
A study conducted in June 2008 with 150 large enterprises in North America and Europe by analyst and consulting firm Ovum revealed that fewer than 50% of them rate their tools “good” in maintaining high performance of applications on their corporate networks. However, 78% said that a performance degradation of networked applications would have a severe or major impact on their company.
Enterprises are looking for consistent end-to-end application performance. And a large portion of them are looking at deploying application traffic management in their WAN in the form of managed services.
There is a unique opportunity for service providers, either Telcos or independent Managed Service Providers, to deliver high-value services that bridge the gap between the WAN and the performance of business critical applications.
