David WHITE - Senior VP Global Business Development

David is a seasoned senior executive with over 25 years’ experience in sales, marketing and business development. David has a strong background in WAN Optimization and has worked extensively in both enterprise and service provider markets.

Previously, he served as VP of Business Development at Expand Networks where he was responsible for their OEM relationship with 3COM/H3C as well as their acquisition of NetPriva, an Australian SoftWOC startup. David also led Expand’s entry into the virtualization market and managed their global analyst relationships.

Prior to Expand, David was the VP of Worldwide Sales at Procket Networks where he was part of the executive team responsible for Procket’s acquisition of by Cisco Systems.  Prior to Procket, David was VP of Sales at several successful Silicon Valley startup companies such as Tasman Networks, CopperCom and Sentient Networks. He was responsible for OEM agreements with Lucent, DSC (Alcatel) and   closed a $40M contract with Williams that led to Sentient’s acquisition by Cisco.

Before working in Silicon Valley, David was part of the initial management team at FORE Systems. He started FORE’s OEM and channel business, developing relationships with companies like Nortel, Cabletron, HP (Grenoble) and Anixter. David was also responsible for starting FORE’s worldwide service provider sales  where he closed volume sales agreements with companies such as Bell Atlantic, AT&T, Cox Cable, MCI, MetroNet (ATT Canada) and Sprint.

As VP Global Business Development, David’s responsibilities will include development of strategic OEM and/or reselling partnerships with US based companies.  He will also serve as the US interface for industry analysts.  David’s role is a significant step forward as we increase our presence in the global market and develop new revenue channels with global US based networking companies.
